Albert “Tiger” Ivens Jr., age 63, of Vonore, TN left too soon on Friday, August 7, 2026 with his loving family by his side.

He is preceded in death by his Pop, Albert “Al” Ivens Sr.; grandparents, Ike and Margaret Allen, Merle Coleman and Wright Ivens.

Albert owned and operated Ivens Transportation for many years, taking great pride in his work and the life he built through it. Outside of work, Albert enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Mitzi Ivens; Tony’s mother, Cathy Ivens; mother and step-father, Shirley and Carl Bell; sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Larry Raper; grandchildren and spouse, Ethan and Madison Ivens, Briana Ivens; great-granddaughter, Hadley Grace; special nephew and family, Josh, Monica, and Raylan Cathey; several other nieces and nephews; and special uncle, Tommy Coleman.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Carl Croft officiating. Family and friends will assemble at Myers Funeral Home at 12 noon Wednesday, August 12, 2026 and will proceed to Big Creek Church Cemetery for the 1:00 p.m. committal service.
