Alice West Wear

Alice West Wear passed away at home surrounded by family and friends. We will always remember you…we will remember you as a beauty, a whirlwind, a fighter.  We will remember you as an advocate for all children and a lifelong educator who enriched thousands of lives in Monroe County. And most importantly we will remember you for your great deep love of family.

She is survived by the love of her life, Pete Wear; son, Micky Fouts  (Becky Johnson); brother, Roger (Kathy) West; beloved niece, Tammy (Joe) Barber and family, Joy McGuire and family; Summer West and family; nephew, Jeremy West and family; the Wear family brothers, sisters and special  nieces. She was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Voyce West and sister, Marilyn Britton.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital ( www.stjude.org ).
