Annie Sue Shaw, age 88, of Tellico Plains, TN gained her heavenly wings on Friday August 5th, 2022, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center where she was surrounded by friends and family.
Annie Sue was a devoted wife, mother, and mamaw. She lived her life doing the things she loved the most which involved cooking, quilting, gardening, raising children and caring for others. She was a lifelong member of New Providence Missionary Baptist Church where she was an avid member of the choir and the WMU.
She is preceded in death by husband, B.B. Shaw; daughter, Linda Valentine; and son Stevie B. Shaw; parents, Frank and Josephine Reagan; brothers, James, Tommy, Henry, Wayne and Melvin Reagan; sisters Edna May Harris, Minnie Crowden and Sara Jane Trent.
Survived by son in law, Alan Valentine; granddaughters and spouse, Beth and Tony Keener and Rebecca Valentine; daughter in law, Patricia Shaw; granddaughters, Angie Thomas and Sabrina Locke; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Zoey Self, Brooke, DeMario, Meya and Myles Keener and Brentley Locke.
Annie (Mawaw Soup) Shaw has left an impact and legacy across this county in the lives she’s touched and will be remembered and missed by many.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday August 10, 2022 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Atkins officiating. Family and friends will assemble Thursday, August 11th at Center Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. committal service with Chris Hollinghead officiating.
