Annie Snider, age 95, of Tellico Plains, gained her angel wings on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
Annie was a member of Towee Baptist Church in Polk County, TN. She lived her life for the Lord, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She was a talented seamstress, who could craft, crochet, garden, or cook anything she put her mind to. She went by many different names in her life from Annie, mother, mamaw, and maw. In her own words, the thrill of her life was her three great-grandsons Timothy, Grayson, and Gunner.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hoyal Snider; parents, Brown and Josie Lankford Webb; siblings, Kitty Lou (John), Clyde, Charles, John (Ruth), Eugene (Anna), Kenneth, Bob (Phyllis), David (Clara Nell).
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis Peel (RW), Janice Smith (Bucky); son and daughter-in-law, Ed Snider and daughter at heart, (Terri); grandchildren and spouses, Lindsey Ratcliff (Matt), and Whitney Kelley (Joey); great-grandsons, Timothy Kelley, Grayson Ratcliff, and Gunner Kelley; sister-in-law, Edith Webb; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and nurse Tracy, Monroe County Ambulance Service, Starr Regional Hospital, in Athens, Conasauga Valley Volunteer Fire Department and Mr. Ronnie.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the chapel with Rev.
