Arthur Ogle Mull, Sr.

Arthur Ogle Mull, Sr., age 90 went home to be with his Lord and reunite with his loving wife, Kathleen and many other family members on Sunday, October 18, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Arthur and Hazel Payne Mull; wife, Kathleen Mull; brothers, Doyle and Wayne Mull; sisters, Phyllis Mull and Betty Denton; daughter, Sherian Wayne Smith; son-in-law, Ralph Nelson; great granddaughter, Morgan Farris.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of Beaty’s Chapel Church serving as a deacon for many years. Arthur was past Master of Conasauga Masonic Lodge #396, he was raised a Master Mason August 11, 1959, served as an officer in the Tennessee Grand Lodge in 1966 and received his 50 year membership as an active Mason on January 1, 2009. He was passionate about his work serving as plant manager of Tellico Industries for 15 plus years and as co-founder of Action Knitwear.

He is survived by his daughters, Catina Nelson of Athens and Sandra Jo Mull of Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur (Bud) and Vickey Mull of Jefferson City and Scott and Conya Mull of Knoxville; sister, Pearl Goins of Cleveland; grandchildren, Scott (Lisa) Nelson, Shannan (Tim) Payne, Kathy (Jeff) Jones, Barbara (Aaron) Neidich, Jake (Malea) McClanahan, Angie (Tom) Logan; Scott (Katy) Mull, Jr.; 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 20 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Dalton officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 21 at Myers Funeral Home and proceed to Beaty’s Chapel Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Bradley Healthcare and Rehab Center, 2910 Peerless Road, Cleveland, TN 37312.
