Arvil Buckner

Arvil Dewayne Buckner, age 58, of Tellico Plains passed away at home on, Friday December 2, 2022 while surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Colonel and Lena Buckner.

Arvil grew up in this area and came from a very close family. He was known in the community as a master craftsman of wood; he could build anything and always took great pride in his work. He was very loved by his family and friends and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law, Ricky and Vernie Buckner, Lamar Bucker and Kay Somerset, and Calvin Buckner and Barbara Woods; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Marty Fritts.

A private service will be held at a later date. His family would like to thank everyone for all the kind words and most of all prayers during this time.
