Arvin "Bill" Harris

Arvin “Bill” Harris, age 74, of Tellico Plains went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Irene Harris; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Bill worked many years as a high lift operator for lumber mills in Tellico Plains with the last being at Lynn Brothers Lumber Company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and he was well liked by everyone.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret Harris;  daughter, Deborah McKinnney; sons, Kevin Harris and Johnathan Harris; sisters, Margaret Bivens and Kathleen Harris; brother, B.W. Harris; six grandchildren; special friends, Pat and Ronnie Lynn and Luther Bivens; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

The family will be celebrating Bill’s life with a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30 at Myers Funeral Home.
