Barbara "Bobbie" Jean Williams

Barbara "Bobbie" Jean Williams, age 75, of Tellico Plains passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Erastus Williams; parents, Andrew and Neva Cline; brothers, Tip, Pat and Kinley Cline and sisters, Annie Payne, May Hollingshead and Shirley Thomas.

Bobbie was a member of the Tellico Plains Church of God. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano both at church and at home and for many years she was a part of the Cain Creek Singers. She was a loving mother and grandmother not only to her own, but to all in the community.

She is survived by daughters and son-in-law,Louisa and Joe Kirkland of Tellico Plains, TN and Janet Vinyard of Madisonville, TN; grandchilddren,Shana Kirkland, Brittany Kirkland, Jennifer Kirkland, Bret Kirkland, Geneva Golden and Charles Dixon; great grandchildren,Jayden Kirkland, Xavier Cooper, Hunter Cooper, T.J. Golden, Elisha Golden, Josh Golden and Cortland Golden.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Dodd and Rev. Jackie Wakefield officiating. Donations can be made toward the funeral expense and payable to Myers Funeral Home.
