Bill Fair

Bill Fair, age 84, a resident of Athens, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, July 2, 2023 at Lifecare of Athens.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Irene Fair; brothers and sisters-in-law. Bob and Bobbie Fair and Jim and Judy Fair.

Bill was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Athens. He spent a lot of time reading the Bible and studying God’s word. He enjoyed working in his rose garden for hours at a time. He loved all his family and relatives, and was especially fond of Martha and Tom’s dog, Sparky.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, C.L. and Barbara Fair and Tom and Martha Fair; nephews and spouses, Alan Fair and Rachal, Jeff Fair and Kim, Chris Fair and Scott Fair; nieces and spouses, Whitney Anderson and Eric, Shannon Harrill and Tommy, Elizabeth Fair Archibald M.D. and Rob; great nephews, Jack Fair, J.T. Harrill, Alex Fair; great-nieces, Kayla Harrill, Ashley Fair, and Kaitlyn Fair; special friends and neighbors, Randy and Karen Hughes;  many cousins, extended family and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon., Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, TN with Pastor Matthew Herrell officiating. No formal visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers make donations to Monroe County Friends of Animals PO Box 106 Vonore, TN 37885.
