Billie Jean Cheatham, age 75, of Tellico Plains went home to be with her Lord, Friday, February 15, 2019 at Life Care of Athens, while surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Irene Garren, daughter, Roberta “Birty” Olley, grandson, Jeremy Patterson, brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Glenda Garren, and brother-in-law, Benny Watkins

Billie was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church and proprietor of the B and B Restaurant.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Cheatham; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Jamie Hicks, Colleen Olley, Tina and Robert Davenport and Sam and Daniel Tallent; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara  Watkins and Clara and Doug Moses; grandchildren and spouses, Tommy Olley, Andrea and Nick Liner, Nicki and Michal Graham, Megan and John Neal, Lacy and Evan Chastain, Kacy and Caleb Lawson,  and Sammy Tallent; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ashton, Carter, MaKenna, Owen, Mason, and Cole, one very special uncle, Wade Lindner,  and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Maple Springs Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 3:00 p.m. at Maples Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Webb officiating.
