Browder Holcomb

Browder Holcomb, age 83, of Tellico Plains, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Sweetwater Hospital.

He is a native and lifelong resident of Monroe County and was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Charlie and Etta Holcomb; two brothers, Brown and Avery Holcomb and two daughters, Nina Mae Cardin and Andrea Holcomb.

Survived by his wife,Joyce Holcomb of Tellico Plains, TN;3 Daughters and son-in-law,Brenda Fisk of Clewiston, FL, Evelyn Valentine of Newport, TN andJacquline (Carlos) Torres of Orlando, FL;2 Sons and daughters-in-law,Cecil (Karen) Holcomb of Clewiston, FL andRoger (Donna) Holcomb of Clewiston, FL;16 grandkids, 24 great-grandkids and one great great-grandkid;1 Brother,Steve Holcomb of Tellico Plains, TN and2 Sisters,Lola Holcomb of Tellico Plains, TN andJeanie Yates of Tellico Plains, TN.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Walker officiating. Family and friends will assemble at Eleazar Cemetery Friday, September 30, 2016 for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
