Carl “Doug” Douglas Cardin Jr., age 52 passed away Friday, December 9, 2022.

He is preceded in death by father, Carl Douglas Cardin Sr.; mother, Deborah Bellew Cardin; brother, Stephen Bryan Cardin.

Doug’s favorite past time was riding up the river in the mountains of Tellico. He was a simple man and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, always a free spirit. He loved his three daughters dearly and dedicated his time to helping them through life.

He is survived by daughters and sons-in-laws; Brooke Cardin, Kendra and Kevin Henry, Laura and Kenyon Reece; sister, Chasidy Noel; grandchildren, Kinleigh Wiggins, Jaxon Cunningham, Marlye Henry, Rori Henry, Asher Reece, Adalynn Reece, Andy Douglas Reece. An abundance of family and good friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00p.m. to 6:00p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m., with Rev. Gerald Hyde officiating.
