Carl Raymond Kirkland, age 73, of Tellico Plains passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Garfield and Imogene Kirkland; brother, Harty Kirkland; brother-in-laws, Charles Jr. Best and Dale Patterson; nephew, Terry Best.
Carl was born and raised in the Ballplay community and accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at Tellico Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his live-stock.
He is survived by his son, Matt Harris; granddaughter, Madison Harris; sisters, Virginia Best and Betty Patterson; nieces and nephews, Jerry Best, Karen (Sissy) Best, Rickey Best, Sam Best, Bryan Patterson and Leann Patterson; several great nieces and nephews; several great, great nieces and nephews; and cousins; special friend and caregiver, Kim Roberts.
Per Carl's wishes; no formal service will be held.
