Carol Ruth Webb

Carol Ruth Webb, 72 of Tellico Plains, TN, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Nellie Edith (Jones) Lindner.

Carol was a devoted member of Maple Springs Baptist Church. She worked many years for Athens Community Hospital. She then went to work for the Monroe County School System at Rural Vale where she was known as Mrs. Carol to all of her precious children. With a heart full of love, she prioritized her relationship with the Lord and her family. She cherished her grandchildren dearly, especially her great-granddaughter Skyler.

She is survived by her husband of 54 loving years, Rev. Vernon Webb; sons and daughters-in-law, Keith Webb, Kevin and Rhonda Webb, and Kurt and Amber Webb; grandchildren and spouse, Neyland and Damon Shaw, Ireland Webb, Paityn Webb, Presley Webb, and Casin Webb; great-granddaughter, Skyler Shaw; brother, Randall Lindner; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Danny Yarberry; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her church family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Larry Walker and Rev. Paul Ellis officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home and will proceed to Maple Springs Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m. committal service. Dean Lindner, Chris Lindner, Johnny “Ozzie” Webb, Steven Webb, Joe Holbrook, Drew Holbrook, and Brandon Freeman will serve as pallbearers. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
