Carolyn Sue Goins Debity

Carolyn Sue Goins Akins Debity, age 75, Tellico Plains, TN passed away, Friday, November 3, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her father, Elmer Goins; mother, Opha Murphy Shaw; and brothers, Timothy and Samuel Goins.

Carolyn loved aggravating her two daughters, and spending time with her grandkids. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. Abbie, her fur baby was her world.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Karen Freeman and Kristy and James Blankenship; grandchildren, Kelsie Smith, and Zackary Blankenship; great-grandson, Abram Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will have a time of visitation to celebrate Carolyn’s life on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Family friend Tim Childress will close our service at 7:00 p.m. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
