Catherine "Cathy" Sawyer

Catherine “Cathy” Sawyer, age 59, of Tellico Plains, TN, formerly of Long Island, NY, was called to her Heavenly home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

Cathy was an animal lover; she and Mike had several fur babies and they love each of them dearly. She worked as a special education assistant at Tellico Plains Jr. High School and was a bus driver for Monroe County School System. Cathy loved all the children and her coworkers very much.

She is survived by her daughter, Caitlin Sawyer; husband of 12 years; Mike Pavlovsky;  mother, Angela Mazzanobile; sister, Lisa Ann Farrice; brother, Carl Mazzanobile; bonus children, Meghan, Melissa, Brendan, Matthew Pavlovsky; and special friend, Rebecca Rogers.

Family and friends will have a time to fellowship and celebrate Cathy’s life from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 in the chapel of Myers Funeral Home. No funeral service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Monroe County Animal Shelter 170 Kefauver Lane Madisonville, TN 37354.
