Charles "Charley" Eugene Collins

Charles “Charley” Eugene Collins, age 80, of Tellico Plains went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Collins; daughter, Jerrie Collins; brothers, Cletus, Jack, Bud, Rex, JL and Dodie Collins; and sister, Alice Thompson; grandson, Emerson "Emmy" English.

Charley was a kind hearted man, always with a smile on his face. He was a true Southern Gentleman and a friend to everyone who met him.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Carl Williams and Stacey and Kevin Emerson; sons and daughters-in-law, Jamie and Kristi Sisson, and Rick English all of Tellico Plains; brothers, Whitey and Bill Collins; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held per Charley’s request. His family would like to thank everyone for all the kind words and most of all prayers during this time. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity.
