Charles Avery "Mutt" Miller

Charles Avery "Mutt" Miller, age 84, of Tellico Plains went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at UT Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edd W. Miller; mother, Sally Roberts Miller; and sister, Gladith Debety

He was a member of Miller's Chapel Baptist Church and retired from the U.S. Forestry Service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Brenda G. Miller; daughters, Jeanie Miller and fiancé Ken Herndon and Jolene Miller; grandsons, Bryan Weil, Liam Smith and Christopher Herndon; future granddaughter, Gracelyn Herndon; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Bruce.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Cody Debty officiating. Family and friends will assemble Thursday, October 4 at Miller's Chapel Cemetery for the 1:00 p.m. committal service. In lieu of flowers donations for the funeral service can be made to Myers Funeral Home, P O Box 132, Tellico Plains, TN 37385.
