Claudella Watkins

Claudella Watkins, age 72, of Madisonville passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

She was of the Church of God faith. Gardening and canning were her greatest joys. Claudella was a loving mother and sister and was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Watkins; father, Glen Millsaps; mother, Roberta Casey Millsaps; brothers, Larry Millsaps of Georgia and Jimmy (Jinx) Millsaps of Mt. Vernon; half-sister, Denise Hensley of Englewood.

She is survived by her son, Doyle Watkins of Madisonville, TN; sister and brother-in-law,Brenda and Doug Hall of Cleveland, TN; half-sister and brother-in-law, Alene and Tim Newman of Florida; sister-in-law, Sherry Millsaps of Georgia; brothers and sisters-in-law,Arnold Wayne and Liz Millsaps of Ringgold, Georgia, Harley and Linda Millsaps of Madisonville, TN andKenneth and Linda Millsaps of Mt. Vernon, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Moses officiating. Interment to follow at New Bethel Cemetery, Madisonville, TN.
