Clifford Reed Tucker

Reed Tucker, age 91, of Tellico Plains went to his heavenly home on Monday, December 3, 2018 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Tucker; daughter, Tooter Coleman; parents,  Jobe and Grace Tucker; brothers, Carol, Creed, Truman and Delano Tucker and sister, Birdie Veal Martin. Reed, was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II, he served as a Monroe Co. Deputy Sheriff   in the Tellico Plains area, and enjoyed a lifetime of farming.

Survivors include his son, Bunkum Tucker of Tellico Plains; son-in-law, J.W. Coleman of Tellico Plains; granddaughters and spouses, Jami and Tommy Babb, Amanda and Cody Smith and Lauren and Sam Hunt; great-grandchildren, Cameron Coleman, Colton and Cooper Smith, Scout and Tucker Hunt; several nieces and nephews, and special friend, James Monger.

Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Myers Funeral Home and proceed to Center Cemetery for the 12:00 noon., graveside service with military honors. Rev. B.J. Wall will officiate. Myers Funeral Home of Tellico Plains in charge of arrangements.
