Daisy Mae Passmore

Daisy Mae Norwood Passmore, age 79, of Tellico Plains, went to be with the Lord on, Friday, April 19, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Passmore; parents, Ulyss and Janie Norwood and was the last surviving of all ten of her siblings.

Daisy worked as a CNA for 28 years in Monroe County and was actively working until August 2022. She was an avid animal lover, and enjoy ginseng hunting. Daisy loved the mountains, butterflies and hummingbirds. If the opportunity arose Daisy could be found at the casino, enjoying some downtime. She was wise beyond her years and had an accepting and giving nature to everyone she met. In the end Daisy will be remembered for her love and kindness she always showed others.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Brandy Wiseman Jones; step-daughter, Linda Passmore; grandchildren, Daisy Jones, Amelia, Lucious, Pyper Wiseman; step-grandson, Gavin Passmore; more nieces and nephews than you can count.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on, Monday, April 22, 2024 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 with Rev. Vernon Webb and Rev. Joe D. Thomas, and friend, Wayne Stiles officiating. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
