Deborah "Debbie" Inez Taylor Norwood

Deborah “Debbie” Inez Taylor Norwood, age 62, of Madisonville, passed away, Friday, November 3, 2023 at U.T Medical Center, and is now rejoicing in Heaven with her husband, Owen Norwood.

She is preceded in death by her husband listed above, Owen Norwood; parents, Duton and Grace Farner Taylor; brother, Dale Taylor; brother-in-law, Ronnie Buckner.

Debbie enjoyed the great outdoors especially fishing and camping. She was a free spirit, spending her time riding motorcycles, dancing, and going to bike rallies. Even though Debbie didn’t have any children of her own, she had many nieces, nephews and other children in her life that she loved dearly. She was a hard worker with a few various jobs including being a truckdriver, cashier at Mr. Zip, and was an employee of Carlex for many years. Her love will always be cherished by her family and close friends. Keep on “Dancing in the Sky”.

She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Rhonda Buckner, and Sharon and Denny Webb; brother, Russell Taylor; sister-in-law, Liz Taylor; nieces, nephews and spouses, Jessica Chastain, Joesph Buckner, Amy Wiyono-Buckner, Ozzy “Johhny” and Yuliya Webb, Steven and Sandra Webb, Tracy Taylor; several great nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece; and special friends, Fronie Winsteat, Trisha Card, Randall Doss, and Dave Robinette.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on, Friday, November 17, 2023 at Myers Funeral Home. Celebration of Life service to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Dwayne Lee officiating. Graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. , Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Rural Vale Cemetery. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
