Denzil L Moore, age 70, of Tellico Plains, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026, at UT Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond C. Moore and Icey M. Larch Moore; two brothers and five sisters.

Denzil dedicated thirty years of his life to demolition construction in Steubenville, Ohio. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his boys and grandkids. Denzil was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind his loving wife of forty-four years, Ramona J. Moore; two sons, Mark D. Moore and his girlfriend, Tashia Hitchcock, and Thomas E. Moore and his wife, Heather; eleven grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Tumlin and Ethel Moore; his brother, Richard Moore and his wife, Traci; two sisters-in-law, Kimberly Anderson and her husband Michael, and Lorraine Goodrich, and her husband, Chris; five nieces, six nephews, seventeen great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Denzil will forever be remembered by those who loved him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

No formal service will be held.
