Donna Lynn Scott

Donna Lynn Scott, age 59, of Tellico Plains, TN and formerly of Jackson, GA left this world peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at UT Medical Center, Knoxville, TN to go home to be with her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her father, George W. Tatum; two brothers, Dennis “Dimbo” and Larry Tatum.

She was of the Christian faith. Donna was a caretaker; always putting others before herself. A loving wife, mother, “nanny”, daughter, sister and aunt she will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Steven O. Scott; sons  and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Krystal Scott and Justice Scott; daughters and son-in-law, Jessica Conley and Tony Rinehart, Jamie Scott, Jenna George, and Jazmin Scott; mother, Dorothy “Dot” Harrison; sisters and brother-in-law, Diane Cornish and Janice and Rob Hampton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky and Diane Tatum and Gary and Cindy Tatum; grandchildren, Whitney, Bethaney, Sydney, Courtney, Matti, Minni, Molli, Merri, Miles, Maggi, Mason, Kagan, Lil’ Charlie, Cadence, Chase, Channing and Hunter; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home Chapel, Access Road, Covington, GA. Funeral service will be held  1:00 p.m. Monday, October 30 at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Patrick Harvey officiating. Committal service to follow at Fairview Memorials Gardens, Stockbridge, GA.
