Dorene Gay

Dorene Gay, age 60, of Tellico Plains, TN. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Maude Gay and nephew, Clinton Harris.

She was a faithful member at Maple Springs Baptist Church. Dorene loved gospel music and singing.

She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law,Madeline and Nickey Lynn of Tellico Plains, TN andNadine and Tony Harris of Tellico Plains, TN; nieces,Enola Lane and Trina Cain; nephews,Stacy Harris, Russell Harris, Kevin Lynn and Randall Harris;15 great nieces and nephews; aunts, Dora Emma Shadden, Doris Shadden and Mamie Sue Gay and many special friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Maple Springs Baptist Church. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Vernon Webb and Rev. Carroll Hamilton officiating. Committal service to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Great nephews will serve at pallbearers.
