Edith "Edye" Miller

Edith “Edye” Miller, age 90, of Tellico Plains, and a resident of Knoxville, TN passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a sister to 15 siblings.

She leaves behind five children, Arie Miller, Clara Gayle, Don Miller and wife, Shirley Miller, Mollie Dodson and husband, Doug Dodson, Sherry Greer and husband, Fred Greer; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., at Rural Vale Baptist Church on Saturday, July 13, 2024 with Rev. Vernon Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Rural Vale Cemetery. No formal visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to be made to your favorite animal shelter in Edith’s memory. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
