Emerson "Emmy" Rae English

Emerson “Emmy” Rae English, age 3, of Tellico Plains gained his Heavenly angel wings on Saturday, August 7, 2021.

Emmy Rae loved playing with trucks, trains, tractors or anything with wheels. He loved spending time in the water. His family always said he was 100% boy.  Emmy had the most contagious laugh and loved everyone he ever met.

He was preceded in death by Hazel Mae Burchfield, Jewell Collins, and Dewayne Jones

He is survived by his daddy, Richard English and Caitlyn Walter; mom, Amanda McElFresh, brothers, Landon, Italy, Elijah, Jack and Easton; grandparents, Paulette Jones and Ronnie Richard English, Sr. and Missy, Paul and Jere McElFresh, and Gina Hernandez; great-grandparents, Ray and Bobbie Roberts, Betty Roberts, Charlie Collins; aunts, uncles, Casey Ingram, Kathy and Melvin Moses, and Lynyrd English and Kelsa, and Brooke English; cousins, Melanie, Madison, Landon, Trey, Nathaniel, Kyler, KaeKae, Aiden, CeCe; special friends, Mylee, Austin Brooke, Hunter Marie, and Benny.

Myers Funeral Home Chapel will be open for viewing at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2021 for friends to pay their respects. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2021 with Pastor Lon Shockely officiating. Family and friends will assemble 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Myers Funeral Home and proceed to Morganton Cemetery in Greenback for an 11:00 a.m. committal service with Pastor Lon Shockely officiating.
