Flossie Wilson Farner

Flossie Wilson Farner, age 77, formerly of Coker Creek community and a resident of Turtletown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 6, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Basil W. and “R.M.” Meigs Collins, Jr.

She was a longtime member of Sandy Lane Baptist Church. Flossie enjoyed playing the piano. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Sylvester Farner; sons and spouses, Marshall and Amanda Collins, Charlie Wilson, and Wayne and Jennifer Wilson; brother, R.M. Collins III; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Tonya Frerichs and many other friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel of Myers Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Stewart officiating. Committal service will follow at Mount Vernon Church Cemetery 1804 New Stansbury Road, Turtletown, TN 37391.
