Gena Mae Lynn

Gena Mae Clowers Lynn, age 85 went to her heavenly home and was reunited with her loved ones that had been waiting on her Saturday, October 24, 2020 at her home while surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by husband, Easley Thomas Lynn; mother, Tina Haun; daughter, Alice Dora Lynn Monger Miller; great grandbaby, Maverick Aiden Lance; sons-in-law, Floyd and George Lance; great-great grandbaby, Sophia Baginski.

She enjoyed planting and spending time in her flower garden. Gena loved her “candy” Bruton Scotch snuff. She showed all her family how much love she had for each of them.

She is survived by her children and spouse, Janice Lance, Philip and Wanda Lynn and Reba Lance all of Tellico Plains; grandchildren, Thomas Lance, Teddy Lynn, Becky Church, Sharon Byers, Jimmy Lance, Timmy Lance, David Lynn, Brian Lance, Roy Lynn, Justin Miller and Jennifer Dawson; special great grandson, Jarred Lance; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Phyllis Gillespie; and pet dog, her baby Maggie.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in Myers Funeral Home Chapel at 7:00 p.m. with family friend Joseph Byers officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28 at Myers Funeral Home and proceed to Hiwassee Church of God Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to Myers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 132, Tellico Plains, TN 37385.
