Gertrude Trudy Galfano

Gertrude “Trudy” Galfano, age 94, a native of Brooklyn, NY and a resident of Loudon, TN was reunited with her loved ones in Heaven on Thursday, January 23, 2025 while surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard V. Galfano; son, Barry Galfano; daughter, Francine Harris; sister, Annette Gandolfo.

Trudy had a passion for dancing, especially when listening to Frank Sinatra. She cherished her family more than anything and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rosanne Galfano Hawk and Doug Millsaps, 9 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on a later date at Chapey & Sons Funeral Home in Bethpage, NY. She will be laid to rest by her husband at St. Charles Cemetery in New York.
