Glinda Sue Ward

Glinda Sue Ward, age 65, of Madisonville, was carried by angels to her heavenly home and was reunited with her husband, Starlet and daughter, Sarina, on Saturday night May 20, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Starlet Ward; daughter, Sarina Marie Roberts; her parents, Ross and Daisy Marie Bivens Dockery; and brothers, Floyd, Wayne and Lloyd Dockery.

Glinda was a dedicated member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church for many years. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Glinda had a deep compassion to serve and help others. She loved her Lord and her family with her whole heart.

She is survived by her sons, Steven Ward and Chris Ward (Kelly Locke); daughter, Cynthia Ward; grandchildren, Blake, Brent, Juleon, Costin, Haylee, Kaylee, and Krista; brother, Austin Dockery; sisters and brothers-in-law, Christine and David Cardin, Marilyn and Dewayne Ledford, and Anna and Steve Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m., in the chapel with Rev. Jimmy Tallent and Rev. Sandra Tallent officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Lighthouse Christian Church Cemetery for the committal service.
