Harless Douglas Bookout

Harless Douglas Bookout, age 66, of Madisonville passed away at 8:20 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Sweetwater Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Lucille Bookout; his sister, Donna Bookout and brother-in-law, Dennis Watkins.

He will be dearly missed. Harless was a loving husband and father. The best Dad ever.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Bookout; daughter, Summer Bookout; sons and daughter-in-law, William Douglas Bookout, Bobby Joe and Felecia Bookout; step-son, Bobby James Hunt and wife, Kim Hunt; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara and Rastus Roberts and Judy Watkins; brothers and sister-in-law; Bobby and Rose Bookout and Lonnie Bookout; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 23 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Harris and Rev. Joe Harris officiating. Committal service follows at New Bethel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials made to Myers Funeral Home, PO Box 132, Tellico Plains, TN 37385.
