Harold Jene (Buck) Woods

Harold Jene "Buck" Woods passed away peacefully at his home in Tellico Plains on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the age of 86.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Roxie Woods; son, Ricky Woods; sisters and brothers-in-law, Juanita Woods, Norma and Harrill Stephen's, and H.B. Hunt.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of almost 40 years, Wanda Woods; daughter, Donna Woods Byrum; grandson, Terry and wife, Melissa Byrum; granddaughter, Amber and husband Justin Cook; as well as great-grandchildren, Colton Alexander, Madison Alexander, Kimberly Cook, Brentley Byrum, and Brayden Byrum. Buck is also survived by several siblings and their spouses Oma (Grub) Hunt, Sue (Bobby) Morgan, Derinda (Billy Wayne) Brown, Paul Woods, and Kenneth (Sherry) Woods.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Druid Hill Cemetery with Rev. Michael Jacobs officiating. Buck requested instead of sending flowers please send  donations to Druid Hill Cemetery P.O. Box 51 Tellico Plains, TN 37385. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
