Howard Edward Riddick

Howard E. Riddick, age 85, of Tellico Plains, TN went peacefully to his heavenly home, Sunday, March 6, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Eva Gay Riddick; parents, Ed and Lucy Riddick; brothers, David and Quevon Riddick. Howard was raised and worked on his family farm in Rafter, TN. He later became a lumber jack and was featured on the heartland series on WBIR in 1994. He was an avid beekeeper and sold local honey. Howard was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Patsy (Riddick) McConnell and Bill McConnell; granddaughter, Keshia Hunt; great grandchildren, Damon and Kaydence Shaw; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Edna Riddick; several nieces and nephews; many friends and acquaintances.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday March 9, 2022 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m., in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tyrone Johnson officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:30 a.m., at the funeral home Thursday, March 10, 2022 and proceed to Macedonia Cemetery for the 1:00 p.m. committal service.
