Hubert Gary "Goob" Kirkland

Hubert Gary "Goob" Kirkland, age 66, of Tellico Plains, TN passed away,February 9, 2016 at his home. Goob enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, good conversation, and sitting in town watching the traffic pass through Tellico Plains. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anderson and Margie Kirkland.

Survivors include his brothers and spouse, Dale and Brenda Kirland, Dennis Kirland, Donnie and Stephanie Kirkland, Calvin Kirkland all of Tellico Plains, Stevie and Cee Cee Kirkland of Madisonville; sister and spouse, Sherry and Jeff Stinson of Falkville, AL; special friends, Michael Shepherd, Eugene Miller and Randy Reagan; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2016 in Myers Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Trentham and Rev. Steve Teague officiating. Interment to follow the funeral service at Hardshell Cemetery.
