Jackie C. Bell

Jackie C. Bell, age 73, of Monroe County passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 while surrounded by his loving family.

He is preceded in death by parents, Bud and Laura Bell; brother, M. L. Bell; sisters, Lola Bell, Eva Gay Riddick, Clara Bell, and Charstie O’Dell; daughter, Angela Bell; great grand-daughter, Amberley Crowder.

Jackie attended Hardshell Baptist Church. His beautiful wife was his pride and joy. Jackie’s life revolved around his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed working on his farm, riding his tractors and tending to his cows.

He is survived by his wife of 54 loving years, Bonnie Bell; daughters and sons-in-law, Joann and Scott Bivens, and Julie Bell; son, Buddy Bell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sarah Ann Bell, Eunavee and Kenneth Powers, Estalene and Benny Jenkins, Mary and Joe Mincey and Donna and Dennis Perry; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frankie and Connie Bell, and Jim and Betty Bell; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews, a host of extended family members and many special friends.

The family will receive friends 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2: 00 p.m., in the chapel with Rev. Danny Strickland officiating. Interment to follow at Hardshell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Myers Funeral Home PO Box 132 Tellico Plains, TN 37385.
