James William Lynn

James William Lynn Sr., 90, a native of Tellico Plains, went to be with Lord on Monday, July 14, 2025 at Erlanger in Chattanooga, TN.

He is preceded in death by mother, Lucy Graves; brother, Kenneth Davis; sister, Frances Payne Millsaps; children, Kathrine Gilles, Jimmy Lynn, Bert Lynn and Gary Lynn.

James enjoyed reading his Bible and attended Kinser Church of God in Cleveland, TN. He had a passion for fishing and loved taking trips with his family to the Great Smokey Mountains and Myrtle Beach South Carolina.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Judy Lynn; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Lynn and Isaiah Ogle; several grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 21, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Mickey Payne, Pastor Aaron Robertson, and Guinn Green officiating. Family and friends will proceed to Living Waters Memorial Gardens for the committal service. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
