Janie Sue Farmer

Janie Sue Hensarling McClure Farmer, age 66, of Tellico Plains, TN, formerly of Houston, TX passed away on, Friday July 7, 2023.

Janie was born December 30, 1956 in Houston, TX to Janice Allen McClure and Clayton L. McClure. She graduated from Central School in 1976. Janie was very talented in painting, crocheting, and embroidery. She loved all animals, especially her cats.

She is preceded in death by her parents, listed above; daughter, Stacey Hines; brother Leon McClure.

She is survived by her husband, Hubert D. Farmer, Tellico Plains, TN; sons, Stephen Hines of Austin, TX and Adam Wayne Massey Jr. of Waco, TX; sisters and brother-in-law, Melissa and Tim Crawford of Lufkin, TX and Barbara Massey of Lufkin, TX; brother and sister-in-law Carl and Angie McClure of Nacogdoches, TX; special aunts, LuAnn Sides and June Milford Tiller of Lufkin, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Myers Funeral Home P.O. Box 132 Tellico Plains, TN 37385. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
