Jennifer Glenise Miller

Jennifer Glenice Miller, 55, of Tellico Plains passed into eternal life on September 30, 2020, while surrounded by her loving family.

A 1983 graduate of Rhea County High School and 1984 graduate of TCAT LPN program, Jenni was passionate about her career.  During her time as a nurse, Jenni’s favorite specialties were step-down ICU and dialysis, and she found great purpose in helping patients and their families.  She was an avid reader and often spoke of using books to experience travel throughout the world and back into history.  She also loved music, enjoyed attending live concerts, and was very artistic. She is preceded in death by her brother, Glen Randell Miller, Jr., maternal grandparents John and Bertha Morgan, and paternal grandparents Edward and Gladith Miller.

She is survived by parents Randell and Loretta Miller; sister, Lois Newman (Paul); niece, Riley Hester; nephew, Laken Newman; special cousin and BFF, Donna Yates, and special cousin, Debbie Schmidt.

The family extends their appreciation to Dr. Ghazali Khan, Aurora Hospice, and all the family and friends that reached out during Jenni’s final days.

A private graveside service will be held due to COVID concerns.
