Jessie Wimberly

Jessie Wimberly, age 82, of Tellico Plains went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 with his loving family by his side.

He is preceded in death his, infant son, Benjamin Wimberly; parents; Leon and Lou Wimberly, and special aunt, Bessie Harness.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Wimberly of Tellico Plains,  son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Misty Wimberly of Madisonville; grandchildren, Colton and Katlyn Wimberly of Madisonville; sister, Georgia Hood of Sweetwater; nephew Rick Hood of Sweetwater, brother-in-law and sister in law, Mark and Chris Thomas; sisters in-law and brothers- in-law, Jane and Ben Lynn, Cindy and Emery Taylor and Brenda Lethcoe all of Tellico Plains; several cousins, nieces and nephews and special friend, Lonnie Tucker.

The family will have a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
