Jimmie Sue Cook

Jimmie Sue Cook, age 84, of Tellico Plains passed away while surrounded by her loved ones, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ora Cook, Sr., daughters, Sandra Buckner, Ellari Davis, and sons, Dan, Benton, and Ronnie Cook.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law,Melb and Roy Marcus of North Carolina; sons and daughter-in-law, Ora and Barbara Cook of McMinnville, TN andMax Cook and Cheryl Hurst of Tellico Plains, TN; sisters, Sara Nell Cook of Maryville, TN and Johnny Kauker of Rockford, TN; brother, Tony Farley of Maryville, TN;23 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Teddy and Marsha Dockery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 29 , 2017 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry Lee Thomas officiating. Committal service to follow the funeral at Eleazar Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions for the funeral service may be made to the funeral home.
