John Christopher Robert Franks

John Christopher Franks age 43, of Madisonville passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at his home.

John attended Sequoyah High School class of 1999. He was a huge fan of the U.T. Volunteers, Hank Sr. and warm weather.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda McLemore Franks; father, James Arvil Bryant; grandparents, Lloyd and Vina McLemore; uncles, Jim and Gene McLemore; cousin, Erskin Ferguson (Junior); and sister-in-law, Elizabeth French.

He is survived by wife of ten years, Casey Franks; children, Bradley, Isaiah, and Breanna Franks, and Morgan Womac; step-children, Cameron, Isaac, and Caleb Cook; grandson, Cayde Emphrey; sisters, Jackie, Mary, and Amy Franks; brother and sister-in-law, James Allen and Jenilee Franks; adopted parents, Chris and Sarah Bledsoe; aunt, Helen Russell; uncle, Charles McLemore; nephews, Dylan, Jacob, Jeremy, Justin and Jayse Franks, Chandler Mason and Austin Morrison; nieces, Brittany Russell, Layla and Bella Franks, and Amanda Morrison; several great-nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law Samuel, R.J, and Dustin Harris, and Matthew Brooks; sisters-in-law, Amber Harris and Debra Coker; father and mother-in-law, Dale and Renee Kirkland, and mother-in-law, Audrey Myers; special cousin, Joshua Ralph Eugene Underwood; and several other cousins in Monroe, McMinn, and Bradley counties.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Myers Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 p.m., with Pastor Dale Kirkland and Pastor Scott Cardin officiating.
