Johnnie Peals Hinton Fletcher, age 87, of Trenton, KY formerly of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at her residence.
Johnnie entered into this life on December 26, 1930 in Tellico Plains, Monroe County, TN a daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen Peals. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Johnnie was also a member of Westside Church of Christ, Elkton, KY, County Woman's Club, and Clarksville Business and Professional Women's Association.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Frank D. Hinton, Sr., a son, Frank Douglas Hinton, Jr., two sisters, Icie Peals Myers and Clara Peals; five brothers, Elick "Red" Peals, Clifford Peals, Doug Peals, Charles Peals and infant brother, Jerry Peals.
Survivors include her loving husband, Frank Fletcher; children, Fran (Phillip) Kirl, Phillip (LuAnn) Hinton, Randall (Cherl) Hinton, Jennifer (Johnny) Burkhart, Michael (Mary Margaret) Wright, Bruce (Kelly) Hinton, Joey G. Hinton and Carolyn (Earl) Kendall; eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Robbie Boring, Eva Myers, Delzie Young, and brothers, Verlin Peals and Junior Peals, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held at 2p.m., Friday, July 27, 2018 at McReynolds-Naves & Larson Funeral with Johnny Burkhart and Hon Partlow officiating. The family received friends on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Westside Church of Christ, Elkton, KY or the Church of Christ at Needmore, TN.
