Joseph "Joe" Watson

Joseph “Joe” Watson II, age 59, of Tellico Plains, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at his home with his loving wife by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Billie Watson; and sister-in-law, Debbie Hoffman.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a very skilled carpenter and tile setter, taking great pride in his work and all the jobs he did. Joe had a love for the mountains, his cats and his dog, Jack.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Watson; sister, Joyce Morrissa, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Nancy and Shawn Kelly; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Jeff Hoffman, Mark and Cindy Hoffman, Randy Hoffman, Gary and Dana Hoffman; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Special thank you to Pete Wear, Steve Duckett, Ray and Trisha Lynn, Rev. Richard Parker, Randy Fulbright, and Amedisys Hospice for all the support and care during this difficult time.

No formal service will be held. Memorial donations can be made to Myers Funeral Home at P.O. Box 132 Tellico Plains, TN 37385. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
