Joyce Zito

Bennie Joyce Zito, age 76, of Tellico Plains passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her home while surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Ailene McCormick; son, Donald Ray Newman; one grandson, Jason Newman and brother, Fred McCormick.

Joyce was a loving wife and mother. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love of her life.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Clarence Zito of Tellico Plains; children, Vickie Vinsant, Pam Fakes, Tammy Harris, Michael Patrick Thompson and Mike Zito; sister, Linda Harrison; brother, Larry McCormick; 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A gathering of friends will be held from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Myers Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:30 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel.
