Judith Lynn Tyre

Judith “Judy” Oskierko Tyre, age 83, of Tellico Plains, was reunited with the love of her life Robert, on May 14, 2024.

She is preceded in death by husband, Robert Tyre; daughter, Andrea Tyre Wood; and sister, Fabia Blue.

Judy met the love of her life and best friend at the tender age of 14. They were wed on August 26, 1956 and made their home together in Homestead. FL. In 1976 they moved to their forever home on Shoal Creek, TN. They shared a passion for horses which they passed down to their children and grandchildren. Judy and Robert were always very supportive in their daughter’s lives, as well as their sons-in-law, grandchildren and other family members. They were the most loving and giving couple and made sure everyone knew the Tyre Home was always open to share with others.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra Tyre James, Robin Tyre Harrison (Terry), Paige Tyre Wells (Kenny), Ashley Davis (Scotty); grandchildren, Chad (Jessica) James, Tanya Wood, Shane (Teresa) Wood, Kristy (Jason) Plemons, Jamie (Mike) Biondo, J.P. (Audrea) Biondo, Wyatt Wells, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

The family will have a celebration service at a later date to remember the life and love of Judy and Robert. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
