Kenneth Lee Smith

Kenneth Lee Smith, age 87, of Tellico Plains passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Sweetwater Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Moses Smith; parents, Sylvester and Margaret Smith; siblings, Rosie Hastings, Darrell, Fred, Herman, James “Deanie”, Jesse, Ralph and Troy Smith and Lucille Thomas.

Kenneth loved to garden, visit the Farm Market, spend time with his family and talk about the good ole days.

He is survived by his daughters, Diane Torbett and Kathy Hensley; grandchildren, Brian Torbett, Candy Millsaps and Josh Miller; great grandchildren, Patience Martin, Dawson Millsaps, MacKaylenn , Espen and Zyden Miller; special friend, Mary Lucille Hunt; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will meet at Myers Funeral Home Sunday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m. and proceed to Eleazar Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service with Rev. Lonnie Massingale officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
