Lee Burgett

Lee Burgett, 46 of Maryville, TN, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022.

He was a Freemason and a member of the Kerbela Shriners. Lee was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a Ranger with Special Operations. He enjoyed traveling and riding his Harley.  He loved trivia and always beat everyone; his children affectionately called him a “walking encyclopedia”.  He met the love of his life, Tina in 2015, then married her in June of 2020. Lee had a heart of gold and he was always there for anyone in need. He was loved by everyone that knew him and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Lee is survived by “his queen”, Tina M. Burgett; his children, Destiny and Jackson Burgett, Reagan, Wyatt and Preston Russell; son-in-law, Jacob Murphy’ adopted mother, Becky Boggan; mother-in-law, Gail Cronan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Phillip and Delana Allen; brother, Wyatt Urban; sisters, Megan Stinson and Kristi Kinkead; nieces and nephews, Zenn Urban, Marina and Willis Oakes and Daniel and Ethan Stinson; special friends, Bill “Pops” Ridley and Alan Moss; and many brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Life service with family and friends will be Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a special time set aside at 7:30 p.m., for sharing some wonderful memories and a time of prayer with Rev Rick Higginbotham officiating.
