Leland Ray Irons, age 74, of Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dotsy Irons.

Leland was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was known for his great sense of humor and telling the best jokes. With a heart full of love and compassion, he was always first to lend a hand. Leland is one of God’s toughest warriors. Though he is gone, his legacy will live on in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his children, Curtis Irons and Misty (Phillip) McDaniel; grandson, Mark McDaniel; sister, Nina Randolph; niece, Jana Hall; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal service at this time. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
