Lila Plemons Teague

Lila Plemons Teague, age 86, formerly of Tellico Plains, TN. went home to be with the Lord at 8:05 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Spring City Care and Rehab.

She was of the Baptist faith and retired from JCPenny in Atlanta, GA.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Teague; daughter, Linda Kay Dalton; sons, Randy and Gary Teague; parents, Hob and Reba Plemons; brother, Bob Plemons; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Annie Teague.

Survived by sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary Thorpe of Dothan, AL.,Jewel Parker of FL.,Doris Shadden of Maryville, TN.,Gwen and Jim Nelms of Hartwell, GA., Ruth Young of Friendsville, TN., andJudy and Lee Turpin of Madisonville, TN.; brothers and sisters-in-law:Jim Plemons of Tellico Plains, TN., Gerald and Shirley Plemons of Houma, LA., and Jerry and Linda Plemons of Shelbyville, TN.; three granddaughters, three grandsons, several great grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with her great nephew, Jonas Turpin officiating. Family and friends will assemble at Myers Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016 and proceed to New Providence Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
